The most important decision citizens make locally has to do with the quality, leadership, and safety found in our Quilcene schools. The elected members of our school board and the superintendent have an awesome responsibility to study and decide these issues for the benefit of all of us and especially for the young people we serve. It is up to us to support their decision to rebuild and update our schools and programs.
We fail to see that postponement and delay will bring our school facilities up to standard. In fact, further delay only increases the costs.
In the past, our citizens have stepped forward to build good facilities and comply with reasonable state standards for construction.
Please join us in stepping forward and voting “YES” for the construction levy that is so badly needed.
Remember that voting “yes” will leave the local school tax rate the same as it has been for the past two years.
Answer the call and show the best of our citizenry!
