All you need is love. Clothes are so unnecessary.

Local burlesque troupe The Sky Dancers are set to perform “Mois D’amour,” a Roaring ’20s inspired show at The In Between in
Port Townsend on Friday, Feb. 17.

Both 6 and 9 p.m. shows will be hosted by Jade Evans, who performs under name ‘The Duchess of ProXecco,’ alongside other performers including Sassy Jean and Roxy Rosè, with pole artistry from Nebula Sea Star.

Each show will run for about two hours, including a 15-minute intermission.

“We chose post-Valentine’s Day because we know the pressures associated with Feb. 14 — especially if you’re single. We want everyone to know, these shows are not just for romantic dates. Bring your friends, bring your grandma, or bring yourself and be our Valentines! It’s all love here and we don’t want anyone to feel like they have to bring a romantic date to attend,” Evans said.

Attendees are invited to bring cash to tip performers although a QR code will also be available for tips through Venmo.

There will be no filming or pictures allowed during performance.

The Sky Dancers are a local burlesque and variety troupe presented by Indigo Sky Productions, a grassroots, Afro-Indigenous Woman-owned production company which aims to highlight women of color and multi-cultural voices through events, performance arts, film, and media.

Tickets must be purchased in advance and can be found at indigoskyproductions.com/event-details/sky-dancers-burlesque-show.
