The youth soccer club Bainbridge Island FC had two teams win the Regional Club Premier League after matchups Thursday Feb. 17.

The first Bainbridge team, with athletes born in 2005, defeated Kitsap Alliance FC after penalty kicks (4-2) to become league champions. Chimacum High student, Sean Botkins, was a part of the team effort to take home the league title.

The other team with players born in 2006 beat the Vancouver Timbers 2-0, and earned a second championship for the club in the same day. This team will travel to England in 2023 to face first-class opponents in Europe.
