Books don’t die when the battery runs out.
Our public library is awesome. I stopped by during the power outage earlier this month, thinking I would just drop my books off.
To my delight, they were still open and fully functioning (minus computers), allowing people to browse and read in the dim natural light. It was such a sweet scene!
All the gals who were working at the time were deciding to stay open until they could close with enough time to do all their closing before they lost all of the sunlight.
I want to give my thanks to our library and all the librarians for making such a great space available and recognizing the asset they provide for our town, on so many different levels.
