LETTER: Thank you JHC from the ‘first graduate’

Recently I completed the ordeal of a 90-day chemotherapy regiment at the Jefferson Healthcare center.

My first treatment began in the “old Short Stay unit” and finished from the newly constructed building’s newly opened oncology clinic. I would be remiss if I didn’t comment and draw attention to the doctors, nurses and assistance in this Department.

Enough can not be said about their efficiency, capability and caring. On my last day of treatments, completely unexpectedly a photographer and many of their “cast and crew” appeared in my room and held an impromptu ceremony to celebrate me being the first graduate from the new unit.

What a nice touch.

I will forever pay it forward.
