The schedule for Growler jet flights is starting to increase.
I have researched ways to document my experiences and concerns. I log the time, location, flight direction, estimated elevation and approximate decibel level. I’ve downloaded a decibel meter app on my cell phone.
I then report it to the Navy Complaint Hotline at 360-257-6665 and email them at comments.naswi@navy.mil, with a copy to the Jefferson County commissioners (jeffbocc@Co.jefferson.wa.us).
I think the more information the Navy has, the more they can understand some of the consequences that the Growler jet noise has on us and also on the voiceless animals around us.
I believe they care about being a good neighbor.
