LETTER: Flu vaccinations: Is it time to just say no?

Right after a friend’s elderly parents got this year’s flu shot, they both had to be hospitalized. Her father ended up in a nursing home with pneumonia. Is the risk from the vaccine greater than the risk of the flu?

While we want flu shots to protect those most at risk for complications from the flu – the elderly, chronically ill, infants and pregnant women – the vaccines themselves carry significant risks.

“For most people, flu vaccinations don’t prevent the flu, but actually increase the odds of getting it,” says neurosurgeon Russell Blaylock.

The vaccine “depressed their immune system and then they caught the flu.”

A National Institutes of Health review of studies over three decades showed that the flu vaccine did nothing to prevent deaths from influenza among seniors, but that flu mortality rates increased as a greater percentage of seniors received the shot. The National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program provides staggering confirmation of serious health complications, across all age groups. Billions of dollars have been paid out in damages to those injured or killed by flu vaccines.

Peter Doshi, Ph.D., from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, warns, “The vaccine may be less beneficial and less safe than has been claimed, and the threat of influenza seems to be overstated.”

In addition to listed carcinogens and neurotoxins such as formaldehyde, thimerosal (50 percent mercury) and aluminum, a just-published study reveals flu shots contain undisclosed contaminants as well. Of 43 human vaccines analyzed, all were found contaminated with debris like “dirty” cells, and corrosive and toxic metals like lead.

Pediatrician Paul Thomas observes “the flu vaccine is one of our least effective and most controversial vaccines and one that many doctors themselves avoid. Many of my staunchly pro-vaccine colleagues refuse the yearly flu shot.”

Look beyond the CDC/Big Pharma narrative.
