I urge my fellow residents of Jefferson County to vote for Heidi Eisenhour for county commissioner.
I have known Heidi for years and observe her to be a woman of fierce integrity with a vision for Jefferson County that transcends political and cultural divides. Her record as a community leader, business owner, activist and CFO is impeccable, and certainly, during the primary campaign she has shown us what she is made of: stamina, grit, compassion, creativity, and humor. She is someone who can think on her feet, and who isn’t afraid to look outside the box for innovative and collaborative responses to difficult issues. (This is not a time for business as usual!) And she never “phones it in.” She’s attentive, respectful and really does her homework.
Heidi’s accomplishments are amazing, and she deserves credit for all her hard work, but what you’ll notice about her is that when she talks about these accomplishments her focus is on impacts to our community, not on herself.
In my book, this is what true leadership looks like: Putting “we” over “me.”
Please vote for Heidi, and please get your ballots in the mail early!
