All this wailing and gnashing of teeth over President Trump doing his job and DOGE cutting waste, fraud, and abuse. You know each and every federal worker has the responsibility to report waste, fraud, and abuse. Do they? No they grow fat and comfortable with themselves firmly attached to the teat of our bloated government. I know, I retired from the federal government. When I reported these things, they persecuted me. I can say for a certainty that there is a federal building here in the northwest with over 1,500 people who do about two hours worth of work per person per day. The rest of the time they try to look busy. Right there is over 1,000 people who need to be fired. Heartless? Maybe, but is it compassionate to bankrupt our country for the sake of being nice? Who will show compassion when our debtors come calling? How can our country help the rest of the world or even our little community if it no longer exists? Our debt is the existential threat that can no longer be ignored. We need President Trump and DOGE to do what they do best. There really is no other option. The organized opposition to this, the parades and signs, they only attempt to perpetuate the demise of our country. We are in debt, really, really in debt bad, like a lot. It’s way past time to pay the piper. This is the way.
