He defeated Evan Gale of Klahowya in two sets, 6-2, 6-3.
Reid Martin and Roman Humphrey were tops in No. 1 doubles for East Jefferson. The pair dispatched Zach Schwietzer and Casey Bergman 7-6, 6-2 in the Olympic League matchup.
