Kennith Eldridge Franklin, of Chimacum, Washington, passed away in Camp Verde, Arizona on June 24, 2022. He was 85.

He was born on Oct. 23, 1936, in Sentinel, Oklahoma to Eddie and Lena Franklin and raised in Odell, Texas, along the Red River. He was one of 10 children who worked the fields of their family farm. Kennith is survived by his older sisters Theda and Faye Lawrence and younger sister Ann Stewart, as well as his younger brothers Jim and John Franklin, his son Ron Franklin and daughter Brenda Beck. He was preceded in death by sister Edina and brothers Edward, Robert, Glenn and Orville. Kennith delighted in being “Papa” to his grandchildren Jeff and Alan Beck, Beau Franklin and Abigail Monroe. He was known as “Great Papa” to his eight great-grandchildren.

Kennith loved God, life, people and his country and always wished he could have served in the military. He attended every Franklin reunion and loved his RV family and friends in Washington and Arizona. There was not an old classic country song or car Kennith could not identify along with the year it was made. His most beloved possession was his 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible. Kennith did not know a stranger and leaves behind special memories to all who had the pleasure to know him.
