Kenneth Robert Snider passed away on July 19, 2020 after a brief battle with cancer.

Ken was a long-time resident of Port Ludlow, Washington after moving there to enjoy retirement. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and crabbing on the Puget Sound water. He enjoyed the camaraderie of golfing with a strong group of friends, took great pleasure and pride in gardening, and was always willing to volunteer his time with the Olympic Peninsula Bluebills, an organization supporting the needs of local communities.

Ken was born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 1, 1943 to Robert B. and Gladys E. (Faust) Snider. He graduated from Wooster High School in Ohio and completed his education at Kent State University, later living in Columbus, Ohio; Dothan, Alabama; Keene, New Hampshire; and Bainbridge Island, Washington.

He is survived by his loving, long-term partner, Gayle Carrier, of Port Ludlow; his older sister, Patricia Adams and her children, Diane Adams Maicon and Jeffrey Adams, of the Atlanta area; his son, Brian Snider, daughter-in-law, Stacy, and two grandchildren, Mia and Madeline, of Madison, New Jersey; his step-daughter, Lori Gisetto and her family of Reading, Massachusetts; his step-daughter, Sheryl Hamill and her family of Keene, New Hampshire; and Ken’s best friend and dog, Buddy.
