Keeping the Light alive that Kamala brought into the world.
This is a difficult time for many of us who had strong hopes that Kamala Harris would defeat Donald Trump. For me I need to keep holding a place in my mind and heart to keep the bright hopes for a kinder and more democratic America that embraces our common humanity and not our differences.
The only way forward is to do the best we can each day to make our community a safer place to live. Just smiling at someone or offering a helping hand makes a big difference or donating to the Food Bank and sharing some of your own food and clothes with others.
We set an example for our children by how we act now. I want to look out my window and see not the darkness but the light!
Her message will not die if we keep moving forward and making choices that matter to our town and environment. I will keep her sign outside and not give up on changes.Thank you.
