Judy left us on June 14 after a heroic fight with cancer. She was born in Minneapolis on February 08, 1949 to Ken and Blanche Johnson and later moved with her family to Port Townsend, WA at an early age where her father was employed by the Department of Agriculture as a Soil Conservationist.

Judy was popular in school, a cheerleader for two years, and graduated from Port Townsend High School in 1967. She married her high school sweetheart, David Skeen (PTHS Class of 1966), in 1970. She graduated with a BA from the University of North Dakota and later received an MA from Webster University. Judy worked in both the private and public sectors, and her last position was managing an airport. In retirement, she enjoyed traveling domestically and abroad with her husband, gardening, fly fishing and golf. She loved cooking and creating eclectic meals for friends. She especially enjoyed creating new flavors for chocolate truffles.

Judy was a loving wife and enjoyed the friendship of many people. Judy is survived by David, her husband of 48 years and several family members. She will be missed every day.
