I want to congratulate The Port Townsend Leader for a fine piece of journalism with the article, “Port Townsend Mayor cleared of all ethics allegations”.
It was a well organized inverted pyramid, rich with pertinent context, fair, full of smooth prose, and an effective summation of a long-standing story. In my amateur opinion, as an inveterate news reader since the late days of the Clinton administration, it met the professional standard of a national outlet. Well done!
