Traffic delays and detours are expected as the Jefferson Street sidewalk extension project continues. The project extends from the intersection of Jefferson and Taylor streets to the intersection of Quincy and Washington streets. Traffic will continue to flow one way in the downhill direction between Taylor and Washington streets. Motorists may use Washington to Monroe or Washington to Harrison as alternate routes to Uptown.
