Jefferson Healthcare in Port Townsend is among 41 Washington hospitals and 2,600 hospitals nationwide to be recognized for participating in the American Heart Association’s “Get With The Guidelines” initiative.
The initiative has a goal of improving outcomes for Americans who experience heart disease or stroke.
According to the American Heart Association, someone in America has a stroke or heart attack every 40 seconds. The Get With The Guidelines program helps patients access high-quality care amid adversity.
