The man was bitten by his sister’s dog. The animal was a 2-year-old Great Dane.

The man’s sister made an appointment to have the dog put down, and the bite victim did not want any action taken against his sister; he said he just wanted his hand checked out.

At 11:23 a.m. Saturday, May 7 in Port Ludlow, a resident said a remote control for a garage-door opener was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

The resident woke up at 7 a.m. to find the device missing.

The caller also reported that the door to a neighbor’s vehicle was open, but didn’t know if the circumstance was related.

The resident reported changing the access code on the garage door.

At 11:36 a.m. Saturday, May 7 in Quilcene, a caller from out of state contacted law enforcement, and said the caller’s mother and a neighbor were in an ongoing dispute.

Both own dogs that bark.

A deputy visited but it was not established that the neighbor had used the garbage bins.

At 11:48 a.m. Saturday, May 7 in Chimacum, a theft was reported at a farm stand.

Approximately $100 was taken after someone broke open a locked cash box.
