he Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office received 237 calls for service between Saturday, Sept. 17 and Friday, Sept. 23. Below are selected reports.
At 4:22 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 in Chimacum, a dispute between roommates was reported in the 100 block of Fern Way.
The caller said a roommate was writing mean notes and had gotten in the caller’s personal space.
The roommate was also complaining about the music she was playing and was yelling at her.
A deputy responded and discovered the caller was actually the landlord of the property and the roommate was a renter.
The landlord was advised to start the eviction process.
At 11:44 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 in Port Hadlock, a resident reported an unwanted person in the 500 block of East Moore Street.
A caller said a vehicle was parked nearby and a child was was crying. The caller wanted authorities to ask them to move along, as the park was supposed to be closed at dark.
A deputy responded and discovered the vehicle had already left.
