It was determined the suspicious person was a transient man who was eating a sandwich.

At 6:17 p.m. Monday, May 9 in Chimacum, dispatchers were called after a young juvenile began biting and kicking others in the household.

The situation de-escalated after a deputy arrived and talked with the youth.

It was determined that no criminal offense had occurred.

At 8:52 p.m. Monday, May 9 in Quilcene, a person came to the sheriff’s office to report a stack of mail that had been found on Sandy Shore Lake Road.

All of the mail came from one person, who lives in Kingston but has a Quilcene mailbox.

The mail was returned to the post office.

At 9:38 a.m. Tuesday, May 10 in Chimacum, a fight was reported behind Chimacum Schools.

Two girls posted a video on social media making threats against another girl who was going to a party Saturday evening.
