At 4:59 p.m. Saturday, March 4 in Chimacum, an unwanted person was reported on Gibbs Lake Road.

A resident said he found a stranger on his property. The intruder was wearing a coat but was naked from the waist down. The caller said the stranger had been in his boat but was now trying to get into his garage. He said he asked the man to leave but he refused.

The man had been on the property for about 20 minutes and was seen falling over things.

The stranger appeared to be in his early 70s, and was last seen lying in the grass behind the shop on the property.

Responders arrived and arranged medical attention. Authorities said the man appeared to be a resident in the neighborhood, but had wandered away from home without anybody noticing.

The man was airlifted for medical treatment.

At 2:17 p.m. Monday, March 6 in Port Hadlock, a woman reported the theft of a Samsung S20 Ultra smartphone from her mailbox.

The phone was a gift from her son in Alaska. Records show it was delivered on Jan. 25, but the woman said she never got the device. It was valued from $1,100 to $1,200.

The package containing the phone was insured and the woman was given a case number.
