The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is now open for limited in-person business by appointment only.
Now-available in-person services (by appointment only; call 360-385-3831 or email jcsoadmin@co.jefferson.wa.us to schedule) include:
New concealed pistol license applications, between 9:30 and 10 a.m. and 1:30 and 3 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 1:30 to 3 p.m. Wednesdays;
Harvest permits , between 10:30 and 11 a.m. and 3:30 and 4 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays;
“Drug Take Back,” call to schedule a drop-off of prescription medications; do not leave medications outside the lobby door.
Additionally, renewal of a concealed pistol license can now be done my mail only. Visit the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office website or call for complete information.
Also, public records requests can be submitted online only, at the Jefferson County public records portal or via email (publicrecords@co.jefferson.wa.us).
Masks must be worn in the office at all times, officials said, and only one person at a time will be allowed in the lobby unless they are from the same household and also have an appointment.
All surfaces will be disinfected between appointments, department officials said.
