Jay St. Onge

Jay St. Onge passed away on May 4, 2021 from cancer.

Jay was born Feb. 22, 1962 in Seattle, Washington, the son of Rene and Dorothy St. Onge. When he was diagnosed with Down Syndrome, his parents insisted he live with them where he had a full and productive life.

In 1982, the family moved to Port Ludlow, Wash. Jay graduated from Port Townsend High School and over the years he worked at QFC grocery store and Port Ludlow Golf Course. He also attended The Gathering Place in Port Townsend. Following his parents’ deaths, he moved to Bainbridge Island to live with his sister, Lynn Ray.

Jay is survived by his sisters, Lynn Ray and Renee St.Onge Foster, both of Bainbridge Island, and many nephews and nieces.
