Jack Allan Hardie, Jr., of Port Townsend, WA, loving father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend, passed away in Fullerton, CA on Friday March 15, 2019 at the age of 75. Born in Glendale, CA on January 20, 1944, he spent a good portion of his life in the San Gabriel Valley, before moving to Riverside County and finally making his way to beautiful Port Townsend. He was an Alumni of the University of Southern California where he obtained his Dental Degree. His hard work and dedication enabled him to have his own successful practices in both Riverside, CA and Port Townsend, WA. A lover of traveling, he set out to find beauty wherever he went, exploring and making new friends and memories along the way. This was a perfect way to capture all the beautiful pictures he has taken over the years. A truly gifted Photographer. He enjoyed everything from long walks to long drives and spending any time he could with family, friends and the those that touched his life. He was a selfless man and would have given anything to those he loved and often did. He enjoyed spending as much time around family as possible and was surrounded by his children in his passing. He is survived by his children, daughter Lara, her husband Andy, daughter Jennifer, son Joshua and his wife Brianna, all whom reside in CA. A brother to Jerry, his wife Roni, his sister Jean and her husband Greg, whom all reside in WA, and half sister Samantha in AZ. Grandchildren, Heather, Donovan, and Hailey, nieces and nephews and many friends he came to know and love. His wishes were that his ashes be scattered in The Grand Tetons National Park in WY. A memorial will be held at Fort Worden State Park at the Beach Shelter, 200 Battery Way in Port Townsend on Sunday June 30, from 1 pm to 5pm.
