Regarding the “keep it simple” advice: Why did the county commissioners avoid calling the county a sanctuary county?
If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, it most likely is a duck. This is a blatant attempt by the commissioners and the sheriff to avoid future reductions in federal funding.
The only honest public officials were the two county judges.
Calling a spade the two of clubs is dishonest, and camouflaging a sanctuary environment under the umbrella of a human rights proclamation is dishonest, too.
