Night work that required a four-hour continuous closure of the Highway 104 Hood Canal Bridge has been postponed due to weather, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The work was scheduled to occur from 10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17 to 2 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18.
WSDOT crews need to finalize temporary repairs to the system that guides and connects the drawspans together. The work requires crews to secure industrial-sized bumpers to the areas where the bridge’s halves come together.
WSDOT will announce when the work is rescheduled.
