The Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners has appointed Joe Holtrop as the Jefferson County Conservation District Representative to the Clean Water District Advisory Council.
Commissioners approved the appointment at their May 24 meeting.
The position was previously held by Al Cairns, who has retired from the Jefferson County Conservation District. His position was later filled by Holtrop.
Holtrop, 60, lives in Sequim.
