The Jefferson County Historical Society is looking for locals interested in volunteering for upcoming 2022 programs.
The 141-year-old organization is seeking volunteers passionate about history, the arts, and working with the public to fill a variety of roles.
The historical society needs helpers to take positions like visitor service representatives, walking tour guides, and gardeners to help maintain the grounds of the Rothschild Historic House Museum.
People interested in helping should visit jchsmuseum.org/GetInvolved/VolunteerOpportunities.html. All volunteers must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
On the webpage, potential volunteers can download and complete the application PDF and email it to programs@jchsmuseum.com, or mail it to 540 Water St.
For any questions, call 360-385-1003.
