Dear Editor:
They move among us day and night, mostly unseen and unknown to most, yet they are a vital part of our community.
They are wingless angels who serve the infirm, the weak, and the dying, and those who cannot help themselves. Who are they? They are nurses of Jefferson Healthcare, Home Healthcare and Hospice. They, along with their support teams serve our community.
I have been a patient of that wonderful group of dedicated angels now for about three months. They make life so much easier for us who need their skills. They have given me their care and love. Yes, love! They do their job with love for all they care and tend to.
We are so fortunate to have these angels in our neighborhoods. We owe a great debt of gratitude to Jefferson Healthcare for making this program work.
The whole system seems to work very well. The wonderful staff, doctors and nurses are always there to help when it’s needed. Thank you all for being there for us.
