This letter is to praise the hard workers at Jefferson Healthcare who are giving their time and dedication to administer the COVID-19 vaccine to our community in an orderly and professional way.
This morning I was allowed to get the vaccine and although the line was long each person in their car had his or her chance to get the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
In our small but vibrant community with many people more than 60 years of age its wonderful to see how each of us matters and during a difficult pandemic year we are finally beginning to rise out of the darkness to a clearer path for health and wellness.
Our lives will be better once we have immunity from this virus and life will return with new challenges and joys to welcome one another after a long hard battle.
I remain optimistic that there will be art and music and other delights as time passes and we are all vaccinated if we choose to be!
Once again I applaud the work of nurses, doctors, therapists and other workers who have made this vaccine happening possible.
