Habitat for Humanity will host a fundraising art sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, to find some fresh color for your walls as winter gray continues this way. The show will feature more than 400 artworks, including numbered prints, oils, watercolors, woodblock prints, and pen and ink sketches. Many works from local artists such as Robert Wyland, Anatole Krasayanksi, Charmaine Hall, Leon Parson, Earl Linderman, Troy Dalton, and Linda Okazaki, will be available for purchase at the show.
Many of the works available are signed and numbered prints but a few are artists proofs, prints made outside of the numbered edition as a test and reserved for the artist’s own collection or gallery.
In addition to paintings, visitors will find antique bottles, stamp collections and limited edition stamps, old photos, tools, and more for purchase. Habitat for Humanity’s usual selection of furniture, books, and glassware will be available to view and buy.
Funds from the sale will be used to build new homes and update existing homes for families in Jefferson County.
