With a day-long concert featuring a half-dozen local bands, plus an Arts & Crafts Fair wrapped around the Jefferson County Farmers Market, Uptown Street Fair is a take-over of Lawrence Street and the Victorian neighborhoods above the fire bell. Nearing its fourth decade, the event is part of Port Townsend Main Street program and brings out kids of all ages, from dog walkers to scarf dancers to the reliable Unexpected Brass Band. The Uptown Street Fair celebrates 29 years of fun in Uptown and includes great local music, the PT Arts Guild Arts & Crafts show and wraps around the Jefferson County Farmers Market. No thousands of words could do it better justice than these photos.
