Jefferson County Immigrant Rights Advocates, a grassroots nonprofit, is celebrating their Grand Opening of the new JCIRA Multicultural Center located at 2328 Washington Street. An Open House will be held on June 9 from 3-5pm with a formal presentation at 3:30 that includes Mayor David Faber, who will read a proclamation highlighting National Immigrant Heritage Month and the Grand Opening, and then a celebration takes place on June 11 from 2-5pm.
