Seattle-based funk and soul band Global Heat performed at Thursday’s Concert at the Docks event at Pope Marine Park, and the artists delighted listeners ears with infectious grooves, non-stop energy, and fun.
Emcee Marcus Sharpe busted out the beats while being backed on lead vocal by Arzelia Jones Jr. during their performance at the Concerts on the Dock music series on July 21.
The group worked the crowd with expertise, getting hands in the air even from those who did care.
The Professor, Dave Holden, was holding down bass and took over the lead vocals for a few soulful tracks. Tim Mitchell was on guitar, Rob Pastorok on keys, and Conrad Real on drums.
