Four people were injured in a T-bone crash on Highway 104 just west of the Hood Canal Bridge Friday afternoon.

The collision happened just before 4:30 p.m. Nov. 11 when a 2008 Toyota Sienna passenger van turned east onto the highway from Paradise Bay Road and hit a 1998 Nissan Sentra that was headed west on Highway 104.

The driver of the Toyota van and three passengers were hurt. One of the passengers, a 12-year-old, was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment. The driver, a 77-year-old man, and a 12-year-old and 14-year-old passengers were transported to St. Michael Medical Center in Silverdale.

The driver of the Nissan, a 38-year-old Port Angeles man, was not hurt, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Both vehicles were totaled.

The eastbound lane of Highway 104 was blocked for two hours after the wreck.

Failure to yield was the cause of the crash, according to the State Patrol.
