Former PT musician Ash Devine performs online May 9 as part of ‘Living Room Tapes’

Former Port Townsend musical artist Ash Devine is performing live online on Saturday, May 9, at 4 p.m., with a rebroadcast of her show at 7:30 p.m., as part of “The Living Room Tapes,” a virtual concert series.

While Devine moved from Port Townsend to Asheville, North Carolina, her heart is still with her hometown, so she wanted to share her original folk music for free, with donations welcomed through her virtual tip jar at brownpapertickets.com/event/4583751.

A Zoom meeting after-party for the concert is set to kick off after the completion of the first showing at 4 p.m. at zoom.us/j/6832345966.

Port Townsend’s Jeff Eichen, host of “The Living Room Tapes,” hopes to announce more performance dates for Devine this summer, but in the meantime, he encouraged music aficionados to visit livingroomtapes.brownpapertickets.com for more upcoming online streaming concerts.

Eichen, a Port Townsend local of nearly 20 years, is proud to support the arts and artists with his weekly COVID-19 “The Living Room Tapes” series.

Each week, Eichen showcases music, comedy and “the far-out humans in the arts of performance and movement.”

Each weekly performance includes instructions on which online outlet is the best venue to view that show.
