How many bouncy castles is too many?
That’s right, there’s no such thing. This year’s Field Day at Fort Worden on Saturday, July 2 has set the bar high with five various bouncy buildings, even including adult options.
After you bounce, not before, try one of the many food vendors including Barbarian Fine Cuisine, Fiddlehead Creamery, Sugar Hill Farms, and La Cocina. Or if attempting aviation through inflation isn’t your thing, don’t worry because there is so much going on you won’t be able to do it all.
Live midday jazz, free root beer floats, and sack races are just the start.
To cool off you might participate in the watermelon eating contest or maybe you fancy yourself to be a tough guy and want to try your hand in the tug-of-war competition for a $1,000 grand prize.
As the sun nears setting, the volume will only increase with live music by The Shift and Elias Alexander of Ramblrx whose stylings of flute and bag pipes along with electronic dance music are sure to get the party started.
Heading into the evening will be a laser light show put on by Slip Lasers out of Seattle who are known for doing big festivals all over the country. The show will be set to classic rock.
