As a proprietor of an Uptown District business (Uptown Cutlery), I’m very excited about the improvements that are being made on our sidewalk infrastructure, making our district more walkable, safer and accessible. Unfortunately, talking to other business owners on our block and in my own experience, the construction is really slowing down foot traffic and reducing parking capacity, which is making for some really slow days financially! I would love to remind your readers that all of us Uptown will really appreciate all the support we can get in this next month while the construction is finished.
