An underground cable failed at 3:05 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, cutting electrical power to about 1,200 Puget Sound Energy customers along Egg & I Road and Swansonville in Jefferson County.
The problem, which originated on West Egg & I Road five miles south of Chimacum, was fixed and power restored at 5 p.m. that day.
