The Leader is pleased to announce it will be adding new information our readers can look forward to reading each week.
As you will see in today’s paper on page A9, we will now include results of Jefferson County health inspections performed on establishments throughout the county. Or, as seen on page A2, names of those arrested in Jefferson County.
But, it is not stopping there.
As Jefferson County’s newspaper, we will also be dedicating specific pages to help better inform you of information you deserve to read about. This will include weekly education, environment, health and businesses pages. Readers will also see expanded sport pages, more in-depth graphics on the most important topics, information about the Naval base, tide reports (as seen on A4) and more.
We are dedicated to serving all of Jefferson County with the most accurate and ethical coverage of any topic.
With the start of the second half of the year, The Leader is jump- starting its coverage and topics.
As we grow to broaden our coverage, let us know what you would like to see in the paper, what we are missing and what you would like to see more of. Emails can be sent to news@ptleader.com or call Managing Editor Kelli Ameling at 360-385-2900.
