Jefferson County Toastmasters will host a free workshop later this month for those who want to learn how to wear a speaker hat — comfortably.
The workshop will be led by Nina Amir, an Inspiration-to-Creation coach who is an Amazon bestselling hybrid author (19 times) and a certified high performance coach for writers. Amir is also the founder of The Nonfiction Writers’ University.
The workshop is planned for noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14.
In the workshop, participants will learn how to get comfortable on stage, leverage expert status as a writer, and get over the fear of public speaking.
The event is free. To register for online workshop, go to https://writer_2_speaker.eventbrite.com.
