Deborah Stinson is a selfless and dedicated public servant. In the 15 years during which I’ve known her as a friend and neighbor, I’ve seen her make private and public decisions with intelligence, compassion and integrity.
Before being elected to the City Council, Deborah willingly volunteered her time and energy with Local 2020, Neighborhood Emergency Preparedness and the Climate Action Committee, to name a few, often taking leadership roles.
Currently, Deborah is the only council member who has had experience on the Jeffcom 911 and Emergency Management committees, and the North Olympic Development Council. And now, with the hiring of the new city manager, it is essential that an experienced person with institutional knowledge and proven leadership skills be elected to provide the continuity needed. Deborah is that person.
I urge you to re-elect Deborah Stinson for City Council.
