Cheri has a unique blend of experience, intelligence, and personality to serve us well. She knows medicine: has delivered babies for 30 years, is licensed as a prescribing RN (ARNP), has chaired national committees for the American College of nurse-midwives, and instructed medical and nursing students. Cheri has served as a volunteer for the library, OlyCAP, and conservation organizations.
For commissions to be effective, members must listen, negotiate, and work together.
Cheri will listen carefully to consumers, to the providers, and to her fellow commissioners. Her style of leadership is to bring people together to find solutions. She will serve us well.
