We were so excited when we learned that Bruce McComas is running for hospital commissioner.
I first met Bruce when we worked together to build the Jefferson Community Foundation. I was so impressed with his knowledge of the community and his commitment to the health and well-being of everyone here.
He has served our community in multiple roles, from the school district to Habitat for Humanity.
Bruce was a patient and loving caregiver for his wife as she battled cancer. And after her unfortunate death, he continued his work on excellent patient care by serving on the Patient Advisory Committee and Patient Financial Experience Task Force.
And now he chooses to use his retirement to give to our community once again by offering to serve on the Jefferson hospital board.
Our ballots are in the mail. We vote for Bruce and hope you will as well.
