A Port Orchard man was injured after he lost control and rolled his car on U.S. Highway 101 west of Bees Mill early Thursday morning.
The crash occurred just before 2 a.m. July 1 near Milepost 302 on US 101, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The driver, a 21-year-old Port Orchard man, was heading south when he lost control while negotiating a curve on a hill on the highway near its crossing over Spencer Creek.
The man's 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt spun and rolled over several times before it landed on its tires, facing east in the southbound lane.
The driver was taken to Jefferson Healthcare Medical Center in Port Townsend for treatment.
He is facing charges of speeding too fast for conditions and not wearing a seatbelt, according to the State Patrol.
The Chevrolet was totaled and was towed from the scene by All City Auto Body & Towing.
