Our beloved family member and friend, Don Frederick Carson, passed away on March 26th, 2020 in Seattle, Washington due to complications following heart surgery. He was preceded in death by Jean, his wife of 49 years and his sister Marjorie Pitts.

Don was a kind and generous man. His smile could light up a room – when he was happy there was no doubt about it! He seemed happiest when his home was full of the people he loved, whether it be for holiday parties, dinner parties or unexpected visitors. He was an avid wood worker, enjoyed the outdoors and was very fond of his cat, Pearl.

Don was born January 7th, 1929 in San Francisco, California. In 1946, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He became a Sergeant and was a photographer technician while stationed in Japan. Following his military service Don was employed by Rocketdyne as a weight engineer. He worked on space shuttles and rocket engines for the NASA Space Program.

Don is survived by his son: Gary (Teresa), his daughter: Victoria Mangan (Jim), his grandchildren: Angelina Quandt (Michael), Jasmine Fritsch (Joshua), Dora, Jacob (Katie), Janell Cummins (David), Micky and Jazlynn, as well as 8 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Don is dearly missed and will be remembered with love.
