Northwind Arts Center hosts a reading of “Dirty Story,” John Patrick Shanley’s biting comedy about conflicts that apparently cannot be resolved, at 7 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 5. Admission is free.
Is peace possible? Shanley, author of “Doubt: A Parable” and “Moonstruck,” tackles the Middle East crisis in “Dirty Story,” a hilarious and serious look at a conflict that does not seem close to a solution. A discussion follows the reading. The event includes complimentary cookies and cider. Northwind is located at 701 Water St. in Port Townsend.
