Dale Smith lost his valiant fight with lung cancer on Jan 10, 2021.

Dale was born in Yakima to Doug and Agatha. On Nov. 2, 1963, Dale married his beautiful wife and best friend, Sandra. They built a wonderful and adventurous and fun life together, which included four children.

Aside from his family, the most important thing in Dale’s life was his loving friendship with Jehovah God. Baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1954, he did his best to live up to his dedication and pass that love on to his family and friends. That friendship with Jehovah provided Dale with a hope that gave him peace and comfort down to his last breath — the hope of being awakened from his sleeping in death on a restored earthly paradise. His family and friends will miss him and his generous and loving spirit every day until that reunion takes place.

Dale is survived by his wife, Sandra; his children, Denise (Aaron) Bellamy, David, and Danielle (Reuben) Wheelis; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his sister, Karen Graham, brother, Demain, as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Doug, and one son being lost at birth.

As a final handshake with Dale, he would want nothing more than for you to listen to one of Jehovah’s Witnesses the next time they try to share some good news with you, or simply visit jw.org. A Zoom memorial will be held at 2:30 p.m. (PST) Saturday, Feb. 27. Please call or text 360-301-3183 for info.
