Craig Hausler was born in Lewiston, Utah on Aug. 7, 1942, and spent his early years on his grandparents’ farm. When he was 6 years old, the family moved to Fairbanks, Alaska where Craig spent 60 years of his life.
In 2011, he married Elizabeth O’Brien aboard the Sternwheeler Tanana Chief on the Chena River. They enjoyed many wonderful adventures traveling to many world places. Craig was especially fond of Vienna, Austria.
He is survived by his wife, Liz; brother, Red Hausler (Karen) of Sequim, Washington; nephew, Christopher Hausler and his family in Wasilla, Alaska; and many friends as well as his much-loved pups Coco, Raven, and Monte.
No funeral arrangements are planned. The Neptune Society is handling arrangements. His ashes will be taken to Fairbanks at a later date for distribution in the Chena River.
