A Port Townsend man in his 30s has tested positive for COVID-19, according to Jefferson County Public Health.
The new confirmed case of the coronavirus pushed the total number of COVID-19 infections in Jefferson County to 355 Thursday.
Public health officials said COVID-19 test results were still pending for 19 residents, and seven people remain in isolation for potential COVID contacts.
According to Jefferson County Public Health, a total of 21,371 tests have been administered for the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic through April 8, and 20,997 tests have come back negative.
Through Thursday, 156 COVID cases have been found in Port Townsend residents; 163 in mid-county residents; and 36 in south county (Quilcene, Brinnon, and West Jefferson).
Based on gender, 183 males have tested positive for COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic in Jefferson County, and 172 females have tested positive.
A total of 25 residents have been hospitalized for the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, and two deaths have been linked to COVID-19.
County health officials reported that 339 people have recovered from COVID-19.
People are considered "recovered" at 28 days from the onset of symptoms if they are alive and not hospitalized, according to the state Department of Health.
